坐洋是旧中国时期在华流通的外国币之一，正式名称为法属印度支哪贸易银圆，在民间又多称为“坐人”、“七角鬼”、“坐七星”等。法属印度支哪地区，相当于现在的越南、老挝和柬埔寨，坐洋主要流通在当时的上述地区，我国与印度支哪地区接壤的云南、广西地带也有流通。坐洋就是其中之一，是自1885年始有巴黎铸造的计主辅币四枚一套的银币，虽然法国殖民主义者很早就有铸造贸易银圆的想法，但是由于种种原因一直到1885年才正式发行了第一套坐洋银币，
